Samford sports have had a great season with three teams winning SoCon Conference titles. Football went undefeated this season in SoCon play and won the conference championship game against Chattanooga 35-24. Women’s Soccer beat the University of North Carolina at Greenville at home for their SoCon title. They won 6-5 in penalty kicks. Volleyball is Samford’s third sport to carry a SoCon championship win. They beat Furman 3-0 for the title. Samford is the only school in the SoCon Conference to carry three title wins this season.
