  • Students practice choreography during this Step Sing rehearsal in 1964.
  • During the ‘60s, Step Sing shows developed to include more intricate costumes as this 1965 performance shows.
  • Samantha Evans sings a solo in the Delta Zeta show of 1966.
  • The Ministerial Association serenades the audience in 1976.
  • Students try to sing through their laughter during this 1979 practice.
  • Chi Omega aims for victory in their 1979 performance.
  • In 1979, Pi Kappa Phi sings their hearts out.
  • Sigma Nu shows off their legs in this dapper chorus line in 1982.
  • The Senior Class of 1984 plays up their age in their show “Senior Citizens.”
  • Zeta Tau Alpha won place in the women’s division in 1984.
  • In 1985, Pi Kappa Alpha impresses the audience with their tribute to “Golden Hills.”
  • In 1988, Sorority groups formed their letters, but refused to dance, in protest to a campus wide ban on dancing that year.
  • The Black Student Organization dazzled with songs such as “Heard it Through The Grapevine” in 1990.
  • In 1990, the Sophomore class proved to be a smooth “Operator” by singing classics like “8675309.”
  • Zeta Tau Alpha performs songs such as “Candy Man” and “Lollipop” to steal third place in 1991.
  • The lifegaurds of the BSU Choir win third in the mixed division with their show “California” in 1992.
  • In 1992, the first ever freshman class to win the Sweepstakes shows off their trophy after their tribute to Jim Henson.
  • Lauren Milner, Trica Davis, Mary Marline, and Brecca Lightsey pose in their leprechaun costumes in 2001.
