Sure to satisfy your craving, these places are great for a meal on the go or a nice outing with friends.

To avoid a caffeine withdrawal headache, since we all know you’ve been drowning in coffee since August, try Cala, Seeds, Honest, June, Baba Java or Caveat coffee shops!

Birmingham is also full of a rich array of historic places and cultural activities to explore. For a lesson on Birmingham History, make a stop at the Civil Rights Institute.
Interested in building up your artistic knowledge? Try visiting the Birmingham Museum of Art. (Fun fact: Some exhibitions are free!)
For an increase in your scientific faculties, give the McWane Science Center a try. Full of fun and interactive ways to learn about the natural world, this is a great place to go by yourself or with the kids you are babysitting.

One of Birmingham’s strong suits is the plethora of outdoor activities it offers. If you are a granola guy or girl, this is your place!
