In this sports segment, we met with senior defensive lineman Ahmad Gooden in a quick game of ‘Overrated? Underrated?’. This is a game where we give Ahmad several random topics and he responds with either ‘Overrated?’ or ‘Underrated?’ and explains his response.
Joi Moore: Drake – Over or underrated?
Ahmad Gooden: Recent Drake is overrated. He just doesn’t relate to the day one fans like he used to. He still makes good music but definitely overrated.
J: Committed relationships – Over or underrated?
A: Definitely underrated. We’re losing the importance of commitment as a generation.
J: Targeting – overrated or underrated?
A: Targeting in football is overrated. Nobody tries to target anyways. It hurts on both sides. When you play football, you sign up for all that comes with it.
J: The school system – overrated or underrated?
A: The school system is overrated in my opinion. The information is filtered and we don’t know how to use our hands.
J: FILA sneakers – overrated or underrated?
A: FILA sneakers are overrated. I just never been a FILA person. They honestly remind me of Kswiss.
J: High waisted jeans/ shorts – overrated and underrated?
A: High waisted bottoms are underrated. Some women look amazing in them and some do not, but majority favors. I’ve asked other females about high waisted bottoms and I’ve been told that they’re versatile.
J: Devlin Hodges – overrated or underrated?
A: Duck is definitely underrated. I’ve never seen a quarterback make plays like he does.
J: Dr. Westmoreland – overrated or underrated?
A: Dr. Westmoreland is definitely underrated. That’s my dog. We are who we are because of him.
