Students elect new SGA leaders

On Monday March 25, Samford students elected new SGA leaders and class officers during SGA elections for the 2019-2020 school year.

Heath Padgett, a junior biology major, was elected SGA President and will replace the current president, James Hornsby.

Hope Dawson, a sophomore journalism and mass communication major, was elected Vice President for Senate. She will take over for current Heath Padgett.

Claudia Stephens, a senior biochemistry major, was elected Vice President for Events and will replace Cameron Dobbins.

Hannah Pellicer, a sophomore journalism and mass communication major, was elected Vice President for Development and will take over for Angel Sims.
