Students are working hard and racking their brains to decipher the Sons of Light’s riddles they have been posting on their Instagram account. On Friday, March 18 the Sons of Light announced their spring game.

“Each night at an unspecified time, we will post one riddle on our Instagram story, which you and your team members will have exactly 24 hours to solve,” the Sons of Light stated in their instructions and sign up form linked in their Instagram account.

Students and faculty members are welcome to participate in teams of four, and they are instructed to list who is in their teams as well as who will be their spokesperson for the team that will answer the riddles on behalf of the team.

The riddles so far have referenced religious and Old English text.

Participants have spent hours working to solve these riddles with the hopes of being correct and eventually winning the game. The Sons of Light stated that the winners will be rewarded, but did not specify what the reward itself is.

At the time of press, this game is still ongoing, and it is unknown what the Sons of Light will do once it ends.

The Samford Crimson will continue to cover the Sons of Light’s activity throughout the spring semester.
