This weekend the Lady Bulldogs took on the Citadel in the quarterfinals of the SoCon Tournament. They were able to come away with a 1-0 victory after a hard-fought 90 minutes of play. Whitaker Buchanan was the lone goal scorer for the Bulldogs on Friday after the team had a collective 21 shots. Emma Donely made three saves in the game. Veteran starter, Jennifer Seward suffered a season ending injury and had to be carted off the field. The Bulldogs advanced to the semifinals to face Mercer on Sunday where they once again came away with a 1-0 win. Whitaker Buchanan once again scored the lone goal and Emma Donely made seven saves. The Bulldogs will advance to play UNCG next Sunday in the final.
